Long term project!

05 February 2013

I have been working on a long term English Paper Piecing project lately.  I really enjoy working on it a little at a time.  I realize it's going to take me forever but I would love to have a bed sized quilt eventually!

I have loved Denyse Schmidt's Hope Valley for such a long time.  And when I finally bought some I knew I had to have the perfect project in order to use it.

Do you have any long term projects that you are working on?  Do you know how to English Paper Piece?  If not, I would love to show you!  It's so addicting, and it's a great way to spend your time while watching TV!

  1. I started the same project using Flurry! It was my way to keep busy when I went home for Christmas without my sewing machine! Mine will end up as a baby quilt. Can't wait to eventually see your bed-size quilt - that's a lot of sewing!

  2. I love EPP!! I really truly do! I have been searching for a new and interesting designs all over the place. Still I don't know what my next design will be. I've already done hexagons, so what will be next??? So hard to decide when the time involved is huge. The enjoyment is even bigger.

  4. I know how to but I don't think I'm patient enough.
I started making hexies a while ago because everyone was making some and they're in a box and I haven't touched them for a few months..

I do love those colors. Denyse Schmidt knows how to make fabric !
